RedditMaster Privacy Policy
Effective Date:
Introduction
RedditMaster (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the RedditMaster SaaS application (the “Service”). This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. By using the Service you agree to this Policy and our Terms of Service.
Key Terms
- Service: the RedditMaster web app and related features.
- Personal Data: information that identifies or can reasonably identify a person.
- Usage Data: technical data about how the Service is accessed (e.g., device, IP, timestamps).
- Cookies: small text files stored on your device.
What We Collect
Account & OAuth (Reddit)
- Reddit username, profile ID, and avatar (via Reddit OAuth).
- OAuth tokens/refresh tokens (encrypted at rest) to enable drafts and one-click posting.
- Workspace settings: selected subreddits, keywords/watchlists, schedules, safety preferences.
Content You Provide
- Draft replies/posts, templates, and notes you create in the app.
Usage Data & Cookies
- Basic logs (IP address, device/browser type, pages/actions, timestamps) for security and reliability.
- Essential cookies for session management and preferences.
- We do not run advertising cookies and we do not sell or “share” Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We never store your Reddit password. You can revoke Reddit access anytime from your Reddit account’s “Authorized Apps.”
How We Use Data
- Provide, maintain, and secure the Service (e.g., login, drafts, posting, pacing/safety checks).
- Operate Karma Mode (find helpful threads, draft replies) and Campaign Mode (surface intent posts and suggested replies) in a way that respects each subreddit’s rules.
- Respond to support requests and send important service notices.
- Detect, prevent, and investigate abuse or technical issues.
- Improve reliability and user experience (e.g., troubleshooting based on aggregated logs).
Legal Bases (EEA/UK users)
We process data to perform our contract with you, based on our legitimate interests (e.g., securing the Service), with your consent (where required), and to comply with legal obligations.
Retention
We keep Personal Data only as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Drafts and settings remain while your account is active. Server logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted or anonymized.
Transfers
We may process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (e.g., Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect international transfers.
Security
We use industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and monitoring. No method is 100% secure.
Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to processing, or port your data. You can also withdraw consent where we rely on it. Contact privacy@redditmaster.com to exercise rights. We may ask for verification.
California Privacy (CCPA/CPRA & CalOPPA)
California residents can request to know, access, or delete Personal Data. We do not sell or share Personal Data for cross-context behavioral advertising. We honor browser “Do Not Track” where applicable.
Children
The Service is not for individuals under 13. If we learn we’ve collected data from a child, we’ll delete it.
Third-Party Services & Reddit
We use third-party processors as noted above. RedditMaster uses the Reddit API in accordance with Reddit’s terms and is not endorsed by Reddit. You can revoke our access in Reddit’s settings.
Changes
We may update this Policy. We’ll post the new version and update the “Effective Date.” Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-app notice.
