Install & launch

Open the file and drag to Applications (or run the installer). The Agent lives in your menu bar — no main window in the way.

Pair with your account

Copy the pairing code from the Console, paste into the Agent. The Console and Agent are linked over a 60-second one-shot token.

Sign into Reddit once in the Agent's Chromium. From then on, the Agent runs in the background — drafts, posts, learns, sleeps overnight, wakes you with a weekly report.

Reddit agent macOS — Apple Silicon and Intel

The reddit ai agent runs natively on macOS 13 Ventura and newer, signed and notarized for both Apple Silicon (M1–M4) and Intel. Install the .dmg, drag to Applications, right-click → Open the first time so Gatekeeper recognises the notarized signature. After that, the agent lives in your menu bar and runs in the background — exactly as if you were typing on Reddit yourself.

Reddit agent Linux — .deb for Ubuntu, Debian, Pop!_OS

Reddit automation on Linux without browser extensions or cloud bots. The reddit agent ships as a .deb package for arm64. Tested on Ubuntu 22.04+, Debian 12, and Pop!_OS. Requires libgtk-3 and libappindicator (usually already installed). The same daemon as macOS — Chromium, throttle engine, OS keychain for tokens.
